Good social video depends more on a clear idea and an understandable demonstration than on expensive equipment. A simple production checklist prevents missing audio, unreadable text and mismatched formats. Decide what the viewer should learn or do before setting up the camera.
01

Write the smallest workable script

Use an opening that identifies the problem, one demonstration and a conclusion that fulfills the promise. If the topic is too large, split it into separate self-contained clips rather than squeezing many unrelated claims into one short video.

02

Film for the intended placement

Check vertical or horizontal requirements, safe zones for captions, lighting, intelligible dialogue and background noise. Record a few extra close-up shots so the editor can show important actions. Avoid accidentally displaying private messages, passwords or customer information on screens.

03

Edit for comprehension

Remove repeated phrases and adjust pacing to the complexity of the explanation. Add accurate subtitles, verify spelling and keep on-screen text visible long enough to read. Music and stock footage require an appropriate license for the publication and advertising context.

04

Check the published experience

View the final asset on a phone with sound off and with sound on. Confirm the title, caption, link and thumbnail reflect the actual content. Record which version was used on each platform and compare watch behavior without assuming every network measures views identically.
